Ella Toone completes turnaround as England fight back to secure dramatic 3-2 victory over the Netherlands
England came from behind for the first time under manager Sarina Wiegman to register an impressive victory over European champions the Netherlands in Zwolle on Tuesday evening.
The Lionesses, who needed to win to keep alive their hopes of qualifying for the Nations League semi-finals, produced a superb comeback after Vivianne Miedema and Jackie Groenen had put the Dutch in control.
Alessia Russo pulled one back for England before the break and Ella Toone levelled the scores in the second half. Toone then completed the turnaround with a stunning strike from the edge of the box to secure a memorable victory.
